A leading multinational concern is looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to head up their team. The successful candidate will have steel making experience combined with strong working knowledge of procurement systems. If you have extensive experience in metallurgical materials like alloy, ferrochrome or zinc, then this opportunity is for you. Dealing and negotiating with new suppliers. Implementation of short term and long term strategies. Management of the procurement and logistics processes. Responsible for continuous improvement and quality risk management. Track and maintain plant performance records. Expand and improve existing raw materials. BSc or BEng degree in Metallurgical or Chemical engineering 10 – 12 years working experience in a similar role in an operational environment. Min 4 years management experience. Must have extensive experience in supply chain. Strong procurement of raw material experience, R1.2 million CTC - R1.7 million CTC (Depending on experience)
