A minimum of eight (8) years’ post qualification experience in a project management environment and minimum of five (5) years’ senior managerial experience. A thorough understanding or knowledge of legislative framework related to local government context. Provide assurance, governance and oversight function in an organisation. Attention to detail Direction setting and build vision for future business improvement and decision-making. Strong functional and project management experience with a clear understanding of the need for integration between contracts, supply chain, operations and project management in a matrix organisation. Process development and monitoring and evaluation focusing on outcome base operations. Data analysis, MS Excel proficiency with a high degree of computer literacy Presentation and facilitation skills Engineering Management, Contract Management and Supply Chain Management knowledge will be advantageous. Registration with a relevant professional body advantageous A Code B (08) driver’s licence Key Performance Areas Perform, lead and direct the activities associated with high level input into programme and project planning and project portfolio compliance through the review of all capital and operating projects. Lead, collaborate and provide the performing of activities for the provision of mentorship and advice to Departmental project and contract managers.
