Job Summary: To provide leadership to the Stores Division and to oversee the SABN's inventory management and storage operations as well as vehicle fleet management. Responsible for ensuring compliance with and implementation of the policies, systems and procedures. Main Responsibilities (not limited to): •Implementation the policies and procedures across stores to support the SABN. •Ensure that appropriate measures are in place to reduce stores and distribution risks. •Manage the inventory levels in order to meet business requirements. •Responsible to ensure that all inventory is accounted for and safe guarded controls are always in place. •Responsible for accurate stock data reporting and integrity. •Ensure accurate and effective receipting of deliveries. •Manage internal clients by ensuring effective and efficient logistics support. •Manage performance and development of individual employees through the HR functions. •Ensure full compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) regulations and to perform necessary risk assessments on an annual basis. The Preferred Candidate is likely to have: •Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field •Combination of education and job-related experience or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Procurement or Member of the Charted Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) •7 years' experience in a supply chain management environment including 3 years supervisory level. Knowledge and Skills: •Supply Chain Management •Enterprise resource planning (ERP) – JS Edwards Procurement and Inventory modules •Warehouse management •Inventory stock buffer management. •Problem Solving and Analysis •People Management •Written and Verbal Communication-English Internal applicants should apply on the SABN careers portal on the intranet by uploading detailed CV's and copies of qualifications.
