Based in Cape Town; reporting directly to the General Manager: Revenue Systems and working closely with multiple Independent Contractors, Clients and the broader Revenue Systems Business Unit. This mid- senior management position is required to lead, influence, and inspire, carrying business operations strategies into reality and ensuring success and best practice. Optimising operational resources in a technology-based environment for effective revenue systems and collections. Provide the General Manager with full support when translating the strategic direction into plans and objectives for Operations. Ensure client systems and support always remain highly functional. Manage the operations team by means of a department strategy and objectives planning Formulate and implement a customer retention strategy; and ensure regular Municipality customer visits Monthly Operations meetings with the Municipality Customers reviewing Syntell Performance via the Signed SLA Deliver monthly operations reports to all Municipality customers Manage the end-to-end incident escalation process to resolution; in accordance with Customer Service Level Agreements; and oversee the CRM incident logging system. Continuously improve operational management systems, processes and best practices in support of business goals. Collaborate with the technical team's delivery of timely and accurate technical solutions to customers. Communicate operational bottlenecks and/ or issues that may cause a risk to projects, product development or other. Conduct Quality and Compliance Audits every 6 months Produce and deliver Monthly Operations reports to the GM (as part of the Executive Report pack) highlighting Performance Issues and Customer SLAs breached Negotiate each customer SLA once the Sales process has been successfully completed Qualification Completed National Senior Certificate (Essential) Completed Degree in Information Technology or relevant qualification (Essential) Operations Management or Customer Management qualification (Advantage) Experience 8 – 10 years' experience in the prepayment/ utility/ municipality (Energy Industry) Proven work experience as an operations manager or similar role is essential Extensive understanding of IT software products and development Familiarity with business and financial principles Adaptability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities Comfortable with legal and regulatory processes to ensure company compliance Excellent communication skills Fluent in English and Afrikaans (Read, Write and Speaking) Apply Now
