Manager: Supervisory framework - - Johannesburg

Detailed description

Lead the team in scanning the international and national environment to keep abreast of changes which may impact the PAs supervisory framework.
Lead the interpretation of changes to the supervisory framework and present changes for consultation purposes to frontline and technical support teams.
Coordinate and integrate framework updates, providing a consolidated, integrated and cross-functional view through well-articulated reports.
Manage the maintenance of the PAs supervisory framework and associated guidelines.
Manage the quality assurance reviews to assess consistency in the application of the framework.
Take responsibility for senior level engagement and present quality assurance findings and recommendations to management and the Prudential Committee.
Review the work of team and provide integrated management reports to support the decision making.
Lead and/or participate within relevant working groups relating to PA strategic projects, initiatives and engagements.
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, displaying the ability to lead engagements with relevant external and internal stakeholders.
Manage the performance and development of the team.
Guide the refinement and continuous improvement of sectional processes.

To be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of:

A minimum of an Honours degree in the fields of Compliance, Law or Commerce, or an equivalent qualification;
A minimum of 810 years experience in policy or framework development within a regulated environment, internal auditing, risk and compliance management and quality assurance of which a minimum of 3 years in leading teams; and
Experience within the financial sector will be an advantage.
