Optimize production efficiency through changeovers, tooling adjustments, and in-run modifications for all Brushfilling machines and general factory departments. Provide essential plant and maintenance support to ensure uninterrupted production processes and maintain plant integrity. Key Performance Areas: Reduce machine downtime and enhance machine performance, including fault finding and machine servicing Complete job cards and execute assigned scheduled maintenance tasks Maintenance support, including assisting fitters and overseeing repairs New equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning Propose changes to planned maintenance work and inspections as necessary Perform changeovers for tooling and machinery, including quick changeover initiatives (SMED) for efficient production transitions Maintain optimal availability of maintenance spares to support uninterrupted production Conduct regular housekeeping checks on machines and workshop Strictly adhere to workplace safety and quality procedures, including ISO9001 and NOSA Qualifications and Minimum Requirements: Completed Matric Certificate Non-trade tested N2 certification, in either fitter or fitter and turner Minimum of 3-5 years practical experience in machine changeovers, setups, programming, and minor fault finding within the FMCG environment Must be available to work full shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, or adapt to future shift patterns as required Desired Skills: FMCG Manufacturing Machine Change Overs Machine Maintenance ISO 9001 Desired Work Experience: 2 to 5 years Desired Qualification Level: Grade 12 / Matric About The Employer: Proudly South African manufacturer of household cleaning, plastic ware, garden ware, and hardware products; cleaning products including brooms, brushes, comfi-grips, decorative cleanings, feather dusters, cotton yarn mops, sponges, scourers, and cloths; painting products such as paint brushes, pads, and mini rollers, rollers, and accessories; gardening products which include pots and gardening equipment; houseware including baking products, basins, buckets, baths, bins, stainless steel elegances, food storage containers, kiddies, kitchen products, and laundry products.
