Location : Randburg, Johannesburg Salary : Based on experience (including benefits) DETAILS A well-established South African Lab Supplies distributor is looking for a qualified, experienced individual with strong digital marketing expertise. This role junior level role reports to the Marketing Manager and involves assisting with the current marketing activities and supporting in formulating future marketing plans. The successful candidate will leverage their science academic training with their marketing experience to be involved in the following: Annual marketing plan strategy and implementation Social media marketing management Event based marketing: conferences, exhibitions, seminars etc. Admin related tasks (demo's etc.) Website maintenance Creating promotions and digital marketing materials Additional marketing tasks as needed The ideal candidate will have the same or similar relevant experience in the life sciences and / or medical space, or marketing experience in the FMCG industry, with a high degree of systems aptitude & financial acumen. REQUIREMENTS BSc (Life Sciences, Chemistry, Micro, Biochemistry, Genetics, Medical Science) First language English with excellent written communication skills 2-3 yrs marketing experience in graphic design and/or HTML experience Live close to Randburg or willing to relocate, own transport, driver's license South African citizen APPLICATION INFORMATION Commencement: As soon as possible.
