As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote microinsurance products and services. You will be responsible for managing budgets, reviewing marketing metrics, and engaging with stakeholders. ● Collaborate with the marketing team in developing comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives. ● Execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising. ● Execute on strategy and ensure delivery of marketing initiatives (e.g. tracking and ensuring new signage installation occurs countrywide) ● Monitor and optimise marketing activities to ensure maximum reach and effectiveness. ● Manage marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated according to predefined budgets. ● Track expenses and provide regular reports on budget performance. ● Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising marketing goals. ● Monitor key marketing metrics for in-field marketing activations, such as customer acquisition, conversion rates, and campaign performance. ● Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators. ● Store key marketing collateral (and other content) correctly on shared drive folders, for easy access for the whole team. ● Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication. ● Support internal marketing efforts to ensure key internal messaging reaches and engages employees. ▪ Grade 12 ▪ 3 years in an Operations/Marketing role ▪ Expertise in Microsoft Excel (or similar platforms) ▪ Experience using: Planning platforms (e.g. Trello, Asana) and G-Suite ▪ Strong communication skills - great written and verbal communication. ▪ Strong organisational / project-management skills ▪ Tech savvy ▪ Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Project management or a related field. ▪ Financial services (particularly insurance) industry experience ▪ Exposure to and understanding of township economies in South Africa ▪ Expertise in budget management ▪ Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver results. ▪ Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. ▪ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities R300k CTC per annum
