Marketing is the cornerstone of the business. Given the nature of the vendors, the marketing function is a complex one, requiring the coordination of activities between the different vendors. The marketing function also owns marketing strategy and is responsible for the effective execution of all planned activities within vendor guidelines, timeous claiming of marketing tending from the vendor, and the analysis of marketing activities to drive strategy into the future. Marketing Planning Plan marketing activities driving the objectives of the various business units within the Rectron. Keep up to date with new product launches and promotions to ensure that the reseller channel receives adequate information to make proper informed decisions Have an understanding of the strategies of the different vendors, ensuring that all planned activities show congruent messages Work with the Johannesburg team, as well as branches to plan activities Marketing Execution Timeous, on budget execution of marketing activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, print media, mailers, events, social media marketing, customer loyalty programs Work closely with Rectron marketing departments to ensure that creative work is executed timeously, to an acceptable standard, and does not conflict with any other activities in market Submit marketing briefs to the internal marketing department on time, giving the team sufficient time to work on creatives, with adequate time to space for changes that might be required Assist in the creation of simple marketing templates Reach out to relevant resources lor assistance in a timeous manner. These resources might include the marketing department, manager, external agencies and vendors Directly liaise with the finance department at Rectron to arrange for payment of supplier invoices Ensure that activities are executed in accordance with the vendor marketing guidelines Ensure all the marketing incentives are communicated to the relevant parties and paid out on time. Administration Effective record keeping, ensuring that all required documents for claims are kept Keep proper tracking of the marketing budget Reporting & Measurement Send out reports with information on all executed marketing activities, detailing what did and didn‘t work, with measurements. Include any issues that you might have come across during the week in the report Send weekly reports to manager detailing activities and tasks in progress, along with details on upcoming activities, as well as potential plans for new activities Provide details on marketing expenditure versus available marketing funds, so that you are able to work with the relevant product managers to adjust marketing plans should this be necessary Ensure that all vendor reporting is completed in the required format and submitted prior to reporting deadline Pulling reports to assess the state of the average sell out numbers Assessing Rectron monthly, quarterly and yearly targets and creating VTT based on average Creating campaigns based on these two figures per brands: Digital - landing pages, social media, mailers, online events, Google Ads, web banners Work behind this entails coming up with the content to market the product and focus areas, tracking and monitoring of the digital activities and ensuring consistent quality leads are generated, categorized per warm and cold lead, followed up by sales and closed to track ROI per activity. Ensuring we stay on track on marketing spend allocated and move this around based on what is working to increase success of the campaign. Working with agencies and in-house design to get the correct message out and stay compliant to vendor guidelines. Creation of invoices on Studio and submission of payment forms to finance. Pull necessary POE for each activity to submit on vendor portal to finalise. spend and claim and track payment to allocate correctly to each activity that has been submitted. Feedback to vendors and PMs on success/failure of activity Customer and Sales Enablement- Face to face or online for customers and internal Based on requirements of customers, awareness that needs to be driven, or Events In-person events focusing on a specific target market, we don't use a spray and pray approach. CIS, eg is targeted to customers who purchase Server licenses, hardware and storage. CSP products and Security solutions compliment this. Find suitable offsite venues, run with registrations, content for invites, personalized reminders and feedback forms, booking, managing accommodation and flights where necessary. Leads are sent to sales to follow up on to ensure all customers are contacted and nurtured to close a lead and provide sufficient ROI within that quarter as our products are longer life cycles. Feedback to vendors and PMs on success/failure of activity. Customer and sales offers Customer and sales incentives based on how best to reach our VTT for the month, quarter. What works best, new fresh ideas to inject into the market and excite customer and sales buy-in. Pull reports and track on a weekly basis back to PM, sales, customers and vendor to ensure success and visibility of the campaign. Creation of invoices on Studio and submission of payment forms to finance. Manage final reports, comms and payouts to each customer and sales person. Pull necessary POE for each activity to submit on vendor portal to finalise spend and claim and track payment to allocate correctly to each activity that has been submitted. Knowledge Maintain a moderate level of knowledge across all Rectron's offerings Maintain a basic level of knowledge across the other product ranges that Rectron supply to the channel Keep abreast of technology trends Keep up to date with the latest marketing trends Education/Qualification Matric or Diploma with a focus on marketing strategy Experience required: 3 – 5 years' experience in a marketing environment Preferred experience with digital marketing Character Tenacious and does not give up easily Proactive Methodical Organised Works well in a high pressure environment Natural communicator Analytical Relationships Internal: Product Team Branches Finance HR Logistics Relationships Relationships Apply Now
