Material Planner - Uitenhage

Fast paced automotive supplier is looking for a strong Material Planner. Automotive experience and SAP are non-negotiable and ideally reside in the Gqeberha /PE area and surrounds
Requirements
- Grade 12 /Matric
- National Diploma Logistics
- Excellent computer skills (MS Excel & MS Powerpoint
- Excellent SAP knowledge compulsory
- 3 years’ experience in material controlling/logistics within automotive
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
Main Responsibilities
- Manage supplier’s demands
- Arrange shipments from suppliers overseas and maintain stock levels
- Manage inbound shipments to ETA's
- Sending releases to suppliers on weekly basis
- Maintaining and reporting on Ideal Stocks of Serial Inventory
- MRP running weekly for overseas suppliers
- Report writing
- Critical analysis of raw material
- Manage KPI of Overstock
- Timeous communication and escalation of risks
