Reference: NES018527-KOMU-1 Supply Chain / Material Planning Manager - Cape Town Exciting time to join an expanding Manufacturer in the Renewable Energy Industry. This is a pivotal role to optimize and manage the flow of goods and services within the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the supply chain, including production scheduling, material planning , procurement, cost management, and timely delivery of products required. Responsibilities: Material Planning: Translating the manufacturing forecast into a material demand plan to trigger procurement of required materials Procurement : Oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle Logistics: Oversee inbound logistics Quality Control: Create, implement and maintain ISO procedures Continuous Improvement: Requirements: Degree in Supply Chain Management Minimum 7 years experience in Supply Chain and master production scheduling within a manufacturing / production environment - essential. Warehousing experience Extensive experience in importation, freight forwarding and clearing, customs etc. Proven ability to implement supply chain improvement initiatives Thorough understanding of all aspects of demand planning & supply chain processes Understanding of principles of accounting and finance Understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing processes, including BOM's. Experience in an ERP/MRP systems
