Competitive rates. LOCATION: RUSTENBURG, NW The incumbent will be responsible for receiving, inspecting and storing materials during the execution phase of Projects. Responsible for receiving, inspecting and storing materials on sire Manage issuing and dispatch functions. Manage receiving and warehousing function. Responsible for inventory control. Purchase Requisitions. Processing of Goods Receiving Notes (GRVs). Assign relevant and required codes Updating the logistics information systems used Pay attention to detail Issuing of materials to the relevant recipients Keeping up to date records Communicate new and changed group standards, procedures, and requirements to relevant employees at the PMO. Timeous and accurate delivery of Materials and Equipment. Handover and Close out Assist with Administrative Close-Out documentation for the project. Contribute to lessons learned. Assist with the filing and archiving of all project documentation in the Project File on ProjectWise. Contribute to project audits with regard to policies, procedures, and systems. Any other work that may be required by the project team to ensure that the project delivery objectives are met. Physical Requirement: Certificate of fitness Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge specific to the position: Mining and/or processing Industry Legislation applicable to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment Document control and records management Company Governance Policies, Procedures & Management Systems. Skills (Key technical skills required): Key skills required to be successful in this position Demonstrable abilities or proficiencies: Organisational skills, Interpersonal skills, Analytical skills, Computer skills, Communication skills, Problemsolving skills. Computer literacy Valid driving license Experience: A minimum of 5 years as a materials controller. Work experience in the mining and/or processing industry. Experience working with transactional software systems. Experience in an administrative function, specifically document control and records Management Qualifications: Grade 12 Diploma in Logistics/ Purchasing Management/ Supply Chain or Supply Logistics. SAP Experience – Required. Market Related. After careful evaluation & validations in accordance with our client's protocols & standards.
