Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Logistics or Supply Chain Degree More than 1 year supply chain or logistics experience Strong Mathematical and Statistical Skills Financial or Economic Background Own car Residing near Cullinan Duties and Responsibilities: Constant Enhancement Evaluation of past and present performance. Recognize product and market trends as well as departmental priorities that may affect demand. Execute tactical plans (6–18 month focus on capacity, staffing, etc.) to assist in business decision making. Execution and evaluation in relation to long-term tactical plans. Innovative approaches to planning that enhance planning. Strategic Planning Take part in and impact departmental strategy. Keep an eye on and measure against the plan. Create suggestions and follow-up plans of action to facilitate the departmental strategy's implementation. Regular communication with teammates to implement strategy. Create and nurture strong bonds with pertinent parties in order to identify obstacles and decide on the best course of action for overcoming them in order to keep improving. Participate in the implementation of suppliers' strategic plans by keeping them informed about tactical forecasting and changes in trends. Regular and proactive communication with important parties. Implement stock build plans that take capacity, raw material supply, etc. into account. Operational Planning Recognize and improve the systems and supply chain. Recognize the internal and external elements that affect demand and make sure your projections take these into account. To maximize efficiencies, communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. Recognize opportunities, trends, and difficulties. Maintain systems and data (master data, BOMS, MOQs, leadtimes, ETC, and rounding values). Compile data and presumptions. Align to Come to a Consensus. Disseminate and publish the MRP plans. Monitor and oversee plans, and report shortages in supplies. Disseminating daily schedules and plans to every production unit. Workforce planning and resource shift. Organize warehouse space according to schedules. Control outmoded and unnecessary inventory. Control connections with vendors. Share monthly, weekly, and daily forecasts with the supplier.
