Mechanical Design Engineer - Johannesburg

You will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process, from conceptualization to production, including creating and updating designs, managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, and ensuring that designs align with manufacturing, technical, and customer specifications. Additionally, you will complete all design projects within allocated budgets and timelines. You will also develop operational concepts and system requirement specifications, create 3D models and manufacturing drawings for equipment in the materials handling industry, such as crushers, screens, and track machines. Furthermore, you will develop CNC instructions, conduct quality inspections of parts, interact with clients, and conduct site visits for commissioning purposes.

Job experience and Skills Required:
- BEng in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-3 years CAD experience, particularly with SolidWorks
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems and vaults; PDM Administration would be advantageous
