Packaging company in the Western Cape requires Mechanical Design Engineer with National Diploma: Mechanical Engineering and 4years' machine design and manufacturing experience in packaging / food processing environment (essential). Person will be responsible to produce designs of packaging / food processing machinery and equipment, to compile detailed manufacturing drawings and to compile part specifications for packaging / food processing machinery and equipment. He / she will also be responsible to implement change proposals on designs, to issue revisions and updates on drawings and to provide technical support during the manufacturing process of packaging / food processing machinery and equipment. Person must have National Diploma: Mechanical Engineering (minimum), 4years' machine design and manufacturing experience in packaging / food processing environment and 3years' CAD experience (2D / 3D CAD advantageous). Salary package / TCTC negotiable (depending on qualifications and experience)
