Mechanical Draughtsman - South Africa
Requirements:
- Degree, Diploma or Certificate
- 3-5 Year experience in a Manufacturing Design environment
- Must be proficient with Autodesk Inventor & Autodesk Vault (Advanced)
- Own Transport & Valid Drivers license
Design and Drafting:
- Create detailed mechanical drawings and designs using CAD software- Autodesk Inventor.
- Develop and revise 2D and 3D models for custom machinery, equipment, mechanical moving parts
Documentation and Management:
- Use Autodesk Vault for managing design data and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of design iterations and project documentation.
Collaboration:
- Work with engineers and other team members to refine designs and ensure feasibility.
- Liaise with clients to understand specifications and incorporate feedback.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and requirements.
- Conduct simulations and stress tests to validate designs.
