Reference: NES017677-RS-1We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer, with expertise in bulk materials handling, to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing mechanical systems and equipment for the handling and processing of bulk materials such as ores, minerals, aggregates, and other granular materials. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects in industries such as mining, construction, and manufacturing.Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for the handling, conveying, and processing of bulk materials, including conveyor systems, crushers, screens, and other machinery. Conduct feasibility studies, conceptual design, and detailed engineering of bulk materials handling systems, considering factors such as capacity, efficiency, and safety. Perform structural analysis, stress analysis, and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure the structural integrity and reliability of designed components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, process engineers, and procurement specialists to ensure successful project execution. Generate detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of bulk materials handling equipment. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Solid experience in the design and engineering of bulk materials handling systems and equipment, preferably in industries such as mining, aggregates, or material processing. Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, machine design, and materials selection. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations related to bulk materials handling. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform structural and stress analysis using FEA software. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
