Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Foreman - Mining Industry - North WestLocation: North West, South AfricaIndustry: MiningReporting to: Engineering ManagerJob Overview:Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Foreman to join their team in the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of mining equipment and machinery.Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanical engineers, technicians, and maintenance staffPlan and schedule maintenance activities for mining equipment and machineryEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems, and implement solutions to prevent downtimeConduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipmentManage inventory and procurement of spare parts and materialsProvide training and mentorship to junior staffPrepare reports and documentation on maintenance activities and equipment performanceAssist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practicesRequirements:Grade 12Trade Test CertificateKnowledge of Plant operations and Plant Equipment5 years of experience in the mining industry with 2 years in a Foreman capacityBenefits:Salary: R800K-R900K per monthFamily Responsibility Leave (if applicable)If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to Hire Resolve at mininghireresolve.za.comPlease note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.
