Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter - Shipbuilding/Oil & Gas Industry – DUBAI Recruiting: Durban, South Africa Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter with a minimum of 3 years in the Shipbuilding/Oil & Gas industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you with our client in DUBAI Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical fitting tasks in accordance with industry standards and project requirements. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical components. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient project execution. Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter in the Shipbuilding/Oil & Gas industry. Trade papers and reference letters supporting relevant experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and components. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must be medically fit and of sober habits. Requirements: Willingness to undergo assessments in Durban (in person). Strong commitment to safety standards and procedures. Effective communication skills. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
