We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Foreman to join our dynamic team, based in Brits (North West). Job Profile: This position requires from the incumbent to work on surface and underground at the Vertical Shaft. Meet production targets, reduce costs & manage performance of direct production staff. Process monitoring, control, optimisation and manage process recipe. Effective supervision of subordinates (Attendance & Wellness). Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and ensure compliance. Will hold 2.9.2 appointment. Ensure adherence to mechanical standards and procedures. Coordinate and monitor equipment availability and ensure continuous effective communication with relevant stakeholders to minimise production delays. Identify key performance shortfalls, gaps, and critical improvement areas. Coordinate training and development of team members. Grade 12. N3 – (Mechanical or Industrial). Fitter Trade Test. Foreman Certificate will be advantageous. Winder experience will be advantageous. 5 years and above as Mechanical Foreman. 3 years shaft experience. Good general health AND a certificate of fitness (Red Ticket). Market Related
