Mogale Tailings Retreatment (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Pan African Resources (Pty) Ltd based in Krugersdorp is looking for an experienced Mechanical Foreman to join a dynamic team. This position requires a candidate with experience particularly in the Mining or similar environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives on challenges and is eager to contribute to the growth and success of the organization. As the Mechanical Foreman -, you are responsible for overseeing the maintenance on all equipment on the Process Plant Ensure that engineering practices at the Mine complies with the Mine Health and Safety Act, Minerals Act, Mines and Works Act, and relevant Environmental legislation Check and review technical correctness of standards regarding equipment and materials Ensure appropriate risk assessment and hazard identification prior to major jobs Have the ability to work alone Monitor and control costs within approved parameters Maintain all the equipment to a high standard Ensure the staff is qualified to perform their job functions Ensure that the staff perform their functions Manage monthly Plant Shutdowns A proven ability to work independently as well as within a team Grade 12 No Criminal Record Skills and Experience Relevant section 13 Trade certificate of competence (MIETTB, Olifantsfontein or MQA registration) 5 years' mining experience as an Engineering Foreman, preferably in a Plant environment Code 8 driver's license. Medical certificate of Fitness. Basic computer literacy (MS Word/Excel/Outlook) English Proficiency Extensive knowledge and experience on Weir Pumps Market Related Apply Now
