LOCATION South Africa Durban JOB SKILLS Mechanical TYPE Permanent SALARY Negotiable FUNCTION: MECHANICAL QC SUPERVISOR DISCPLINE: QA/QC LOCATION: HAIFA ISRAEL (URBAN) DURATION: CONTRACT (RENEWABLE) SALARY: MARKET RELATED "TRS is looking for a MECHANICAL QC SUPERVISOR with strong mechanical quality control supervisory experience within the Oil and Gas industry to join our International Client's Project team based in HAIFA ISRAEL (URBAN)." JOB DESCRIPTION: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the mechanical quality control team to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Conduct inspections and audits of mechanical installations, equipment, and systems to identify non-conformities and ensure adherence to quality requirements. Review and approve quality control documents, including inspection reports, test plans, and procedures. Provide technical guidance and support to the mechanical team in resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actions. Monitor and track quality control metrics, such as inspection results and non-conformance reports, to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in project meetings and provide input on mechanical quality control matters. QUALFIICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Accredited Degree / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification. Years of experience: Minimum 10 years. Mechanical QC experience in role: Minimum 10 years. Aware of the type of inspection needed related to mechanical works. Aware of raising the proper RFIs. Performs functional checks and mechanisms completion checks (pressure and vessels).
