This pivotal role requires candidates with a Mechanical Trade Test (Fitting/Boilermaker/Millwright), accompanied by extensive experience in Automotive assembling and installation in a supervisory capacity. Fitter or Boilermaker Trade Tested. Automotive industry experience is essential. Minimum of 3-5 years of Supervisory and Management experience. Knowledge of boiler making, pipefitting, and welding experience is required. Valid Driver's License Code 08. Must be willing to travel and work away from home. Knowledge of quality control plans. Knowledge of AutoCAD designs. Knowledge of the OHSA Act. Responsibilities Formulating production program, control, and planning. Achieving targets and ensuring that budgeting guidelines are met. Scheduling work throughout the plant and site. Managing general multi-projects. Liaising with contract managers daily on updates on the projects. Liaising with clients. Ordering of raw materials/components for plant equipment and labor utilisation. Set delivery schedules. Management of the mechanical engineering team. Adherence to Health and Safety requirements. Adherence to ISO standards. Adherence to any other instruction as given by the mechanical contracts manager. R 480000 - R 600000 - Annually
