We offer a multidisciplinary work environment where we develop all aspects of our products including firmware, electronics, mechanics and plastics. Proudly South-African, we build our products predominantly for the Southern-African market in our factory in Cape Town. Yet, as part of the Nice SPA group of companies, we are also truly global, selling products in over 100 countries. We are looking for a qualified engineer to take ownership of the mechanical aspects of new and existing products. Our ideal candidate would have: B.Tech/B.Sc Eng/B.Eng or equivalent required) Experience in mechanical design (SolidWorks preferable) FEA experience (SolidWorks preferable) Keen interest in designing products and solutions for manufacturing Hands-on abilities Positive, innovative attitude Bonus skills: Worm and wheel geartrain design Computer aided machining 3D printing Basic programming experience (C, Python) We offer a market-related salary, negotiable on experience.
