Medical - Inland Sales Manager - Johannesburg

The main purpose of this position: The successful incumbent will be responsible to direct, coordinate and manage the inland sales function of the company and its affiliates, with the focus on the inland territory Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure achievement of sales revenue targets for the defined territory High emphasis on business development strategies and initiatives to sustain and grow market share with an emphasis on identifying customer value drivers Effective implementation of strategies Optimize the performance of the sales function through effective strategy development and implementation Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment Nurture and further grow relationships with key customers and opinion leaders Conduct regular business reviews and follow-up on sales activity Analyse performance of new and existing products Position strategies to improve service delivery and customer experience Assess individual team member’s performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions, as needed Develop human capital through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education Identify market trends and shifts and propose directional changes whilst staying abreast of competition status Present sales, revenue and expenses reports as well as annual forecasts to the executive management team Requirements: Senior Certificate/Grade 12. Bachelors of Commerce Degree or similar A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial / supervisory capacity Demonstrated and highly successful record of accomplishment of leading a well performing sales team in the medical devises industry Valid Driver’s License & Own reliable transport Advantageous Experience: Verifiable, evidence based, track record of exceptional achievements Preference for Orthopaedic Industry experience Skills & Attributes: Excellent written and verbal communication Strong business commercial acumen Strong analytical skills Proactive and operates with a sense of urgency Strong leadership skills Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Strong planning and organisation skills Ability to work under pressure Able to work as part of a team Highly self-motivated Assertive Fluent in English & Afrikaans Should you meet the above requirements, we urge you to please apply by forwarding your CV along with any supporting documents to infoglass-house.co.za Apply Now
