My client in Pretoria is looking for a Medical Practitioner and Occupational Health Nurse to provide professional services in incapacity investigation hearings.My client requests experienced and reputable candidate to submit a cv together with qualification and 3 reference .
Requirement:
Medical Practitioner with 10 years solid experience in practice as a Medical Practitioner and Occupational Health Nurse with 5 years experience as Occupational Health Practitioner to provide professional services in incapacity investigation to be held in the month of April or May 2024.
The purpose of the full medical assessment is to determine the following aspects:
a) The cause, extent, and nature of the employees health condition.
b) The seriousness of the health condition.
c) How the employees health condition influences on his/her ability to perform productive work through considering the following aspects.
i. Whether the employee can perform the physical / mental outputs required by his/her current job outputs; if not
- ii. Which physical / mental outputs pertaining to the employees current job outputs can he/she perform. If found that he/she is unable of performing none or limited of these outputs; then to consider -
iii. What physical / mental activities can he/she perform?
(c) Furthermore, the medical assessment will consider what adaptions can be made to the employees workplace to accommodate his/her health condition.
(d) Determine whether his/her job outputs can be restructured, in order to accommodate his/her health condition.
(e) Consider whether an alternative job, is available that can be offered to you, in order to accommodate the employees health condition;
(f) In the event that none of above is possible, the chairperson may consider the following options; Temporary Medical Boarding
Permanent Medical Boarding
Termination of the employee services.
Valid registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Valid registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC)
