Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients with courtesy, both in person and on the phone Register new patients and capture insurance details Schedule and manage patient appointments, optimizing healthcare providers' time Coordinate and confirm appointments via phone, email, or messaging Handle appointment cancellations and rescheduling Direct incoming calls and emails appropriately Respond to patient and family inquiries with professionalism Relay messages accurately and promptly to Health care professionals Perform clerical duties like photocopying, faxing, filing, and office maintenance Assist with typing clinical reports, motivation letters, and feedback reports Process cash and credit card payments Liaise with medical aids for authorizations and admissions Maintain practice inventory, check stock levels, and place orders for supplies Qualifications and Requirements: Matric certificate Own transport and a valid driving license Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar medical administration role Mandatory experience in a medical practice Familiarity with GoodX is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and general computer literacy Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and typing skills Strong language and grammar proficiency Team player with analytical and diligent approach Autonomous, confident, reliable, and responsible Professional communication and well-presented demeanor Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and stay organized
