Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading company in the Agriculture industry to recruit a skilled Merchandise Planner for their team in the Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and strategy, maximizing category margin and stock efficiencies, and executing key business metrics. Responsibilities Develop and implement merchandise strategies to drive sales and meet financial targets Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitors to identify opportunities and create effective assortment plans Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including buying, production, and marketing, to ensure successful execution of merchandise plans Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and market trends to make informed decisions regarding stock levels and pricing Drive promotional activity to increase sales velocity and engage with channel owners Requirements B.Eng. Industrial Degree is a non-negotiable Proven experience as a Merchandise Planner in the Agriculture industry Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and merchandise planning software Knowledge of agricultural products and market dynamics is preferred Benefits Salary: negotiable Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move.
