Clothing Company based in Springfield Park is seeking a Merchandiser & Quality Assurer to work closely with the Director.Must have initiative and drive, is able to work under pressure and handle several minor and major projects simultaneously. Must be able to manage daily costs effectively. The Quality Assurer must perform quality inspections to ensure that the garments are manufactured within Company, Code, Specifications and Client requirements, and within the allocated timeframes and within budget. Merchandiser:- Acquire new clients to the business, and maintain the relationship.- Brand development. providing a range of products that will be suitable for the customer.- Analysing past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs. Relaying the merchandiser plan to the buyer who, in turn can decide on what products, styles, colors etc to purchase.- Product development, planning product ranges. Planning budgets and presenting sales forecast and figures for new ranges.- Styling price and negotiation. Liaising with buyers, suppliers and distributors.- Forecasting sales, and optimising the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas.- Anaysing every aspect of best sellers and ensuring that they reach their full potential. Maintaining awareness of competitor's performance.-Maintaining slow sellers.- Travel locally to meet customers.- Identifying production difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEExcellent communication and inter-personal skills.Fluency in English.Excellent report writing skills.Planning, organization and people management skills.Ability to meet deadlines and tasks given.Computer competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Quality Assurer must be between the ages of 30 - 45 years.Merchandiser must be from the age group of 35 years.
