Merchandiser/Packer/Checker/Forklift Operator - - South Africa

Merchandiser Planning and developing merchandising strategies. Analyzing sales figures, market trends and customer behavior to determine product needs. Stocking sales floor shelves and creating attractive product displays. Determining the need for and implementing product promotions, price changes, mark downs, clear outs, etc. Ensuring retail staff are well informed on product details and promotions. Maintaining and tracking inventory. Liaising between customer and company. Forecasting sales and profits. Managing budgets. Packer Weighing packages and labeling them appropriately. Inspecting packages to ensure they are not damaged. Inspecting shipping containers to ensure they meet shipping regulations. Assembling daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories Locating items in warehouses Packing goods into containers Updating customer invoices Ensuring that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and are packed to a high standard prior to shipment Performing packing operations in accordance with time, quality and quantity targets Loading packing machines with packing materials (e.g., cans, boxes, bags, containers, wrapping etc.) Supervising the packing process and monitoring individual machines Controlling the quality of packaged items Checker Weighs, measures, and checks materials, equipment, or products in a warehouse using various tools and devices. Records and maintains relevant data on the materials, equipment, or products. Checks, processes, and clears customers’ orders for shipments. Sorts, arranges, and labels all the goods in the warehouse. Receives and examines all the incoming goods on behalf of the organization. Keeps the warehouse and its environs clean and safe. Operates, cleans, and maintains all the equipment used in the warehouse. Wears safety gears needed in the warehouse. Forklift Operator Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items. Transporting materials to different locations within the facility. Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency. Securing loads to the machine before transportation. Inspecting for damages to vehicles. Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs. Operating and managing technical equipment. Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
