Purpose of the role: The Merchandising team at Wowcher is responsible for compiling the business online shop window using both qualitative and quantitative data to select the most appropriate deals to display on-site. By assessing which offerings should deliver the most revenue for the company in the medium to long term, the Merchandising team will provide insight to Sales teams and Management to meet changing consumer preferences and adapt to seasonal change. The Merchandising Analyst will ensure the relevant pages of the website are optimised to maximise profit opportunities. Main responsibilities and duties: Ensures the local website pages are merchandised in the most profitable way possible and accurately reflect seasonal focuses. Analyses performance of deals on the website and suggests restructures using data and commercial acumen. Focuses on listing optimisation on key deals to improve conversion, including highlighting key selling points and updating images. Works closely with the other members of the merchandising team to ensure alignment across local focuses. Analyses conversion and click through rates of deals to identify strength of launched deals and make suggestions for price drops. Analyses Wowcher website vs competitors and the rest of the marketplace and makes suggestions to innovate and improve ways of working. Keeps Tiles up to date with seasonal focuses and proactively updates these based on performance. Works with design to create enticing tiles, and banners for the website. Monitors performance on guidepages and keeps these up to date to maximise revenue potential. Works closely with SEO team to strategise customer journey to deals on website pages. Works with marketing team to push key deals that need increased exposure. Perfectly balances deal exposure onsite so that revenue is maximized but content remains engaging for the consumer. Ensures regional pages have content reflective of local focuses.
