Job Title: Industrial Engineer Location: Pretoria Salary: Market Related Job Type: Permanent Sectors: Automotive Reference: E.L001254/BG Vacancy Details Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ an Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team in Rosslyn. Job Description: Support the Plant Manager in implementing and maintaining the company as well as in achieving the company’s objectives in the plant. Guarantee that the company is fully understood and communicated within the plant. Communicate company expectations & targets of the production line towards the plant and request & bundle feedback from the plant towards the Regional company’s Coordinator. Analyze logistics & production processes and indicators and provide recommendations for improvement. Initiate and realize changes in cooperation with the plant/department managers to improve training, processes, material flows, and labor utilization. Assure that exclusively harmonized company’s methods and tools are applied within the plant to implement Train plant management, trainers, and plant staff in methods according to the company’s method box, e.g. Shopfloor Management, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, elimination of waste and Standardized Work Procedures. Support the company Lean Evaluation / Assessment to monitor the improvement progress within the plant. Prepare internal the company’s reports periodically and as requested. Guarantee compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.
