Job Title: Quality Manager Location: Newcastle Salary: Market Related Job Type: Permanent Sectors: FMCG Reference: E.L001213/BG Vacancy Details Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Quality Manager to join their dynamic team in Kwa-Zulu Natal (Newcastle). Job Description: Management of all QC staff (including on-site laboratory), 13 direct reports. Ultimately responsible for QMS Management Responsible for all internal and 3rd party audits – with preventative and corrective action implementation Responsible for supplier audits Responsible for all risk assessments (TACCP, VACCP and HACCP) Initiate root cause analysis studies in conjunction with Head of Technical Drive company Quality Culture Hands-on approve with line QC Training of all staff on Quality – according to training matrix Ensuring all incoming raw material are in accordance with pre-defined specifications Ensuring full product traceability and aid Production Managers Artwork verification and sign-off Assist NPD with new initiatives, factory trials, document implementation, training and final sign-off. Job Requirements: Btech- Biotechnology Quality Control – Minimum 5 years Staff Management – Minimum 3 years Extensive experience in FSSC22000. Extensive experience in HACCP. SANBWA experience beneficial. Beverage experience beneficial. B.Sc Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology Extensive experience in HACCP.
