Reference: JHB006365-Koki-1 Managed Talent Solutions a Business Unit within Datacentrix is looking for a Microsoft Platform Developer for one of their client based in Pretoria. The Platform Developer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft solutions including the migration of legacy systems to the latest fit-for-purpose technology in line with organisational objectives. The Developer must have proven Microsoft Power Platform development experience (Power flow/Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse and Power BI). The resource is required to design and develop a productivity planning application for the core divisions Qualifications and Experience Required: Matric plus Advance Diploma in IT, Information Systems, Computer science or a related field. Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified Developer or SharePoint Developer is advantageous ITIL Foundation certification 8 years relevant work experience in Microsoft applications. Proven experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer Proven experience working on O365 platform. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI Proficiency in SharePoint Online development, including custom forms, workflows, web parts, and integration with external systems. Key Performance Areas: Functional Management: Collaborate with solution architects and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design innovative solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform tools. Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new systems, and enhancements to existing systems. Translate conceptual user requirements into functional and non-functional requirements. Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems to enhance business processes, operations, and data flow. Factor system performance and reliability into solution designs. Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines while developing scalable and reliable solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Microsoft Power Platform solutions with on-premises enterprise systems. Investigate and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in Microsoft Power Platform solutions. Review all applications prior to implementation to verify consistency and conformance with processes and policies in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders. Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with system configuration, troubleshooting, and training as needed. Risk and Compliance Management: Assist in identifying and adhering to fraud controls, risk prevention principles, sound governance and compliance processes, and tools to identify and manage risks. Support and provide evidence to all internal and external audit requirements. Maintain quality risk management standards in line with ISO requirements. Adhere to all relevant laws, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures throughout the organisation. Identify, analyse, evaluate, treat, and monitor possible risks to the ICT systems and perform mitigation planning. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships for the purpose of expectations management, knowledge sharing and integration, and to manage the organisation's reputation. Convene and attend meetings and present relevant information stakeholders when required. Ensure the provision of excellent customer service. Resolve queries and problems within span of control and within agreed time frames. Follow up on unresolved queries and complaints where required. Provide subject-matter advocacy and expertise to all relevant stakeholders. Manage internal and external relationships to ensure that business process engineering best practices are implemented across the organisation.
