Microwave Transmission Planner - South Africa
ROLE PURPOSE • Responsible for transmission analysis (High level design). ? Microwave feasibility check for new site builds (NSB). ? Route/network design. ? Analyse traffic report (UTraffic). ? Capacity planning for access and backbone link. ? Equipment planning (BOM). ? Plan network future expansions/upgrades. ? Plan TX High sites and repeater sites. • Responsible for Microwave design (Low level design). ? Microwave link design (Link budget). ? Line of sight check. ? Frequency planning and interference analysis. ? Apply and maintain ICASA MW Frequency records. ? Review and approve Technical site survey (TSSR). ? Responsible for Windloanding and 3rd Party application. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE • Must have 3 years or more experience in telecommunication industry, planning and designing microwave network. • Strong Knowledge of Telecommunication systems(Microwave) • Should possess Good Communication, Behavior and Customer centric skills. • Experience in one of the following planning tools.
