Job descriptionTBN Africa is looking for a Christian mid-level video editor/videographer based in Jozi to work with us on exciting projects in our creative department. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, has a good understanding of Adobe Premiere and After Effects, and can work to a deadlineThe main function of this role is to create promos, edit TV shows, and maintain the channel under the guidance of the creative director.The second part of the job is to work in a studio environment. This will be from setting up cameras, lights, vision mixing, and various other tasks and duties. You must be prepared to work in many areas of post-production but have a passion for video editing, compositing, and cameras.Experience:2-5 years of work experience requiredCandidate must supply a URL link to a showreel showcasing their workKey responsibilities:In OfficeEdit filmed footage & TV shows as specified by line managerEdit/re-edit promos for programsRecord and edit voice-oversChannel branding updates & maintenanceCreate logo builds and lower thirds where requiredExport music videos and promos (supplied by third parties) to our format and required audio levelsRe-export programs that have lip-sync issues etc.Ensure delivery is according to the agreed scope and within the agreed timeframeWork as part of a team with designers, editors, and videographersUse design software (Adobe CC: After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop) proficientlyStay up-to-date with technological and software advancesAssist in uploading and downloading TV shows from around the worldHelp with maintenance of various channel imaging ie. Lineups, Combos, Strapping Music videos and so much more ….Creatively and efficiently edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, with consistently high quality and according to the deadlines and the look and feel of the channel.
