Mid-weight Content Writer / Copywriter - Cape Town City Centre

What we are looking for: A mid-weight content writer / copywriter.
What you will do:
You will be responsible for crafting compelling and informative content, copy and editorial. Creating and writing content on behalf of a suite of top-tier clients, predominantly in the financial services space. Think insurance, asset and wealth management and financial education. But you’ll also dive headfirst into content about travel and tourism, small business development and retail. The ideal candidate is someone who is well-rounded enough to adapt their writing style to suit the communications strategies and styles of both B2B and consumer brands.
What you must have:
- A tertiary qualification in copywriting/english studies/journalism or related field
- 4+ year’s working experience as a content writer or in a similar role
- Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word / Excel / PowerPoint etc.)
- Knowledge of how to use Canva is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of SEO content writing is advantageous
- Strong organisational, administrative and time-management skills
- Knowledge of and experience with social media marketing is advantageous
- Wordpress or similar CMS experience is advantageous
