Job Title: MillwrightLocation: Queensburgh, DurbanJob ID: 4787374112We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial machinery and equipment. Key Responsibilities:- Inspecting, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment- Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on various types of machinery- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics- Ensuring all work is completed according to safety regulations and company standards- Communicating effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activitiesRequirements:- Millwright Trade Test or equivalent- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Millwright in a FMCG setting- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as neededPreferred Qualifications:- Certification or education in Millwright or related field- Experience working with hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and welding- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)If you meet the qualifications and are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply for the position of Millwright.
