Our client in Watloo is looking for a Millwright to start ASAP 1. Maintenance and Production Management System Report machine performance/ emergency repairs/ machine related concerns to Maintenance Manager. Ensure execution and completion of maintenance daily checks as per UpKeep on equipment. Perform Planned Maintenance on all equipment as per Maintenance schedule. Support Production with any maintenance related request. Ensure all machines and equipment to be in good and safe working order. Control of maintenance/equipment spares. Supervise maintenance assistants with daily tasks. Perform standby duties. 2.Maintenance Performance Analysis and Reporting Liaise with the Maintenance Manager on maintenance components/ spares that need to be ordered. Assist with the implementation of new projects or the design of new plant equipment. Ensure good customer relations with external suppliers. 3.Planning and of Ensuring Equipment Maintenance on Equipment and Planned Maintenance Assist with planning of Preventive Maintenance on all machines/ equipment. Reduce downtime on machines/ equipment by means of Preventive Maintenance and regular inspections. Assist in any possible way to help with maintenance and tasks around the Plant. Ensure that the correct tools are available for each job and report missing or required. Education/ qualifications: 5 years Maintenance on production equipment (Hydraulic presses, Bending machines, Cut off machines, Welding Machines, etc) Strong knowledge on Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems (must be able to perform fault finding) Read and understand drawings ( Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical) Sound knowledge on screw compressors, overhead cranes Strong knowledge on mechanical work (Replacement of bearings, seals, shafts, sprockets, etc) Sound electrical & PLC knowledge Must be computer literate
