Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Millwright in Johannesburg to join their prestigious team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in their state-of-the-art facility. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes Repair or replace faulty components and parts Install, align, and set up new machinery Follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes Requirements Experience with Cut-to-Length Processing Lines : You'll be working on a machine that cuts materials to specific lengths. Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC s: You should be familiar with a type of industrial computer system (PLC) commonly used in factories, specifically the Siemens S7 model. Steel Industry Background (Preferred): While not mandatory, experience working with steel would be a plus. 5 Years of Experience : We're looking for someone with a solid track record in this field. Millwright Trade Certificate : You'll need a formal qualification showing your competency in installing and maintaining machinery. Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Meticulous attention to detail and precision Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting Adaptable to rotating shifts, if necessary Benefits Salary: negotiable • Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) • Training & Development Contact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move.
