Job Title: Millwright Location: Gauteng, Sedibeng District, Meyerton Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Manufacturing and Production Secondary Industry: FMCG Salary: ZAR25000 - ZAR35000 Per month Job Description: Job Duties: Assemble, install, and maintain machinery and equipment Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations Required Qualifications: Completed apprenticeship as a Millwright Valid Millwright trade certificate Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Additional technical training or certifications are advantageous Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience in machinery maintenance and repair Knowledge and Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems Ability to work independently and in a team Excellent problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in related fields Experience with PLC systems Working Conditions: Exposure to loud noise and machinery Physical strength and stamina required Ability to work in various weather conditions Job Duties: Assemble, install, and maintain machinery and equipment Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations Assist with training and mentoring junior team members Required Qualifications: Completed apprenticeship as a Millwright Valid Millwright trade certificate Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Additional technical training or certifications are advantageous Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience in machinery maintenance and repair Knowledge and Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems Ability to work independently and in a team Excellent problem-solving skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in related fields Experience with PLC systems Experience in a leadership or supervisory role Working Conditions: Exposure to loud noise and machinery Physical strength and stamina required Ability to work in various weather conditions Opportunities for overtime and weekend work may be available
