Job Title: Millwright Location: Olifantsfontein Industry: Food Manufacturing Job Summary: RPO Recruitment's client are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their team at a food manufacturing facility in Olifantsfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various machinery and equipment within the plant to ensure efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, including conveyors, packaging machines, and refrigeration systems Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and make necessary repairs Monitor and adjust equipment settings to meet production requirements and quality standards Assist in the planning and execution of equipment upgrades and installations Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees Collaborate with other team members and departments to maximize efficiency and productivity Qualifications: Trade qualification as a Millwright or similar technical qualification Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
