As a Millwright at our client, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their production facilities. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions. Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications. Collaborate with production operators and other team members to improve equipment performance and reliability. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times Red Seal Qualified Millwright Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in an industrial setting, preferably in the FMCG sector. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willing to work shifts as this plant operated 24 hours Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed. R330 000 CTC to R450 000 CTC per annum based on experience adn qualifications
