Our client, a leading manufacturing powerhouse in Johannesburg South , is seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their maintenance department. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a renowned company. Key Responsibilities: Conducting and coordinating all maintenance on machinery and equipment on site. Completing maintenance schedules and programs for each machine as per supplier recommendations. Building and maintaining an inventory of spares for the machines. Properly maintaining maintenance records as per ISO 9001 Quality System. Controlling machine spares as per required standards. Attending to mechanical breakdowns on and offsite. Ordering necessary equipment and tools when required. Attending relevant meetings when necessary. Advising on and implementing technical improvements where appropriate and cost-effective. Ensuring all machines are serviced, cared for, and maintained appropriately. Being available for call-outs after hours. Requirements: Trade Tested Millwright. Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics (basic fault-finding ability). At least 3 years of experience in a production environment. Possession of a valid driver's license. Ability to interact with employees at different levels. Good communication skills. Ability to identify and solve problems effectively (analyse and fault-finding ability). Logical and systematic approach. Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to work overtime when necessary. Basic computer skills (Excel). Standby duty one week a month. Overtime as required. Enjoy a straight 7-4 schedule, Monday to Friday. Injection moulding experience is nice to have but not essential.
