They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their dynamic team. As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their manufacturing facilities by maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment. • Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues. • Performing preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems. • Repairing or replacing defective parts as needed. • Installing new machinery and equipment as required. • Collaborating with other team members to optimize production processes. • Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times Proficient in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintenance and repair Skilled in using power tools and hand tools Experience in a manufacturing or mining environment is advantageous Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Relevant technical certification (red seal) At least 2-3 years experience as a millwright Ability to read, understand and edit PLC programs Fault finding by understanding sequencing of the machines Strong electrical fault finding capabilities Strong welding/steel structure manufacturing capabilities
