Reference: Cen000281-ST-1 Mine Manager - Northern Cape - Postmasburg Qualification : Diploma/BTech Mining Engineering Certificate : Mine Manager's certificate of competency (DMRE) Advantage : Mine Overseer's Certificate Experience : Minimum 15 years of operational mining experience in open pit mining, majority of which should be in a 3.1 legal capacity. Manage the life of mine plan. Manage continuous improvement through operational excellence. Determine, implement and monitor production strategies, activities, plans reports and schedules. Directional support to manage mining/plant scope, inspection of pits and improve ore body knowledge and resources, ensuring clear communication of progress to plan. Drafting and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to mining and safety standards, organizational standards per MHSA and other legislative requirements. Proven track record of networking and stakeholder relations. Work closely with 4.1 and other team members to drive production targets, discipline, control costs, improve efficiencies whilst ensuring high safety standards.
