Minimum requirements:
- Proven experience in mining and construction capital equipment sales.
- Successful sales career with a stable work history.
- Technical qualification related to mining or construction machinery.
- Completion of relevant sales courses is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required.
Job purpose:
Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers within the region.
- Keep dealer principals, sales, and technical personnel informed about business updates and product principles.
- Collaborate closely with dealers to understand their needs and address any concerns.
Business Development:
- Source and develop new dealership opportunities in line with the company''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s growth strategy.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and areas for expansion.
- Implement effective strategies to increase market share within the mining and construction sectors.
Sales Support:
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to dealers and customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
Travel:
- Essential travel is required to maintain relationships with dealers and explore new business opportunities.
- Travel within South Africa, the DRC, and surrounding countries as needed.
