Job Title: HR Generalist Location: Century City, Western Cape, South Africa Reference : 2021102 Contract Type: Contract Salary; Market Related Job Summary: NACOSA is looking for a suitably qualified candidate in Cape Town to provide HR support and administration services to support the Human Resource function within the organization. Duties and responsibilities: • Support the on boarding of personnel including orientation training, on boarding administration etc. •Supporting the remuneration and benefits processes •To provide support during the organizational design processes, and creating job descriptions •Guide and support the performance appraisal and review processes •General monthly time and attendance administration •Taking full ownership of the recruitment and selection process for certain positions •Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures and providing guidance to line-management in this regard •Assistance with Skills Development activities and the roll-out and record keeping of discretionary grants •Support during the process of statutory reports submission including COIDA, WSP/ATR, etc. •Assisting with ad hoc day-to-day general administrative work in the Human Resource Department •Uphold and exemplify NACOSA, its vision, mission, values and objectives, etc. •Ensure adherence to HR NACOSA policies and procedures by providing advice and guidance in this regard Requirements: Required qualifications, skills and experience: A completed relevant degree and or diploma in Human Resource Management or related field Min 2-3 years’ sound generalist HR administration experience including Performance Management & Recruitment Intermediate computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook Payroll administration experience, SAGE 300 People experience highly advantageous Familiar with applicant tracking systems and recruitment job portals Highly organized and structured approach to tasks Good time management skills and ability to deliver according to deadline Good written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to go the extra mile A valid driver’s license and own vehicle •Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
