We currently have the above position available at our flexible packaging printing facility and wish to invite all suitably qualified applicants to submit their details for our consideration. The incumbent, reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, will be responsible for conducting planned maintenance on machinery, including assessment of any electronic and/or electrical malfunctions. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to troubleshoot electronic faults experienced on various machines. Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification (Preferably Printers Mechanic/Millwright/Fitter & Turner) 5 Years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a flexible packaging or production environment, with a knowledge of PLC, AC Drives and fault-finding. Sound knowledge of HACCP and ISO Systems as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act Attention to detail Good written and verbal skills Good problem-solving, planning and organising skills Good numeracy and literacy acumen Own transport Willingness and availability for standby Enthusiastic and eager team-player Willingness to work shifts
