This opportunity may be for you One of the biggest leaders in transport and logistics is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team in Kempton Park. This individual will be required to refine and grow the organizations tax strategy to manage all tax matters and risks. DUTIES: Control and oversight of the complete South African/Sub-Saharan Africa (“SSA”) corporate income tax (“CIT”) function for Group of companies – Includes liaising with in-country and local financial support staff for quarterly and yearly group tax reporting, annual and provisional CIT submissions and payments as well as AFS computations. Monthly Receiver of Revenue Reconciliations for the SA and SSA group of companies AFS audit query finalization, reporting and submission. Monthly effective tax rate reporting journals and summary to finance for processing Ad hoc responses and submissions to SARS relating to all CIT related queries/verifications/requests for the SSA group of companies. SSA CIT risk analysis and reporting – where applicable and necessary. Ad hoc assistance with other tax types of queries/requests from SARS and SSA Revenue Authority related to audit queries (WHT and Payroll) EDUCATION EXPERIENCE: BCom Accounting/BCom Taxation or equivalent EXPERIENCE: Min of 5 years’ experience in taxation and/or finance, accounting firm, advisory practice or commercial Exposure to local indirect tax, withholding tax, SSA corporate income tax and statutory filing requirements To Apply Click Here Application Deadline: September 15 2023
